Twenty six cents can be put towards:* The Grace Inside Prison Ministry in Fluvanna County for Women who are often without hope, * Oral Re-hydration Packets to save the lives of children in third world countries, * Mosquito nets to save African children from malaria, * a meal for the food bank, * part of a meal for Meals on Wheels, *food to be put in the backpack of a child for the weekend who otherwise might not eat, *Tent schools provided by UNICEF for Syrian refugee children who have nothing else, * food for needy families of patients in Charlottesville hospitals provided by the Interfaith Humanitarian Sanctum, and the list goes on… or 26 cents a day can provide funding for a luxurious new building on the golf course at Lake Monticello. We might want to think about our priorities.
