Creating a new notice system will impose costs and obligations on circuit court clerks that are unfunded and unstaffed. Less widespread notice raises the risk of fewer bidders at foreclosure sales, depressed sale prices, and increased deficiency amounts due from consumers to lenders.
Once again, thank you for your vote against SB 560 and keeping the light on notices to protect the public’s right to know.
