Phyllis Pace, 95, of Palmyra, Va., passed peacefully on September 15, 2022, at The Heritage Inn of Charlottesville.
Born on May 17, 1927, in Esmont, Va., she was the daughter of the late William and Nora Bragg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey O. Pace; her brother-in-law, Herman Pace; and her son-in-law, Brian Donnelly.
Throughout her life, Phyllis lived in Esmont, Charlottesville, and finally settled at Lake Monticello with her husband in 1987. She was an active member of Lake Christian Church and Lake Monticello Rescue Squad Auxiliary. She entered assisted living in Charlottesville with her husband in November of 2017.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Brenda Donnelly; her grandchildren, Erin Catapano and Kelly Tedford; her great-grandchildren, Waylon, Wyatt, Aiden, Joey, and Kara; and her brother-in-law, Louis Pace.
Special recognition goes out to Lake Christian Church members, The Heritage Inn caregivers, and Legacy Hospice workers, who gave exceptional care to Phyllis in her time of need.
Funeral services will be private.
