In point of fact, the average number for Fluvanna home foreclosures as of April 2010 was approximately 1 in 850 (0.1%) according to Fluvanna’s director of finance’s June 2010 report to the Board of Supervisors. June 2011 figures from RealtyTrac show the average for Virginia was 1 in 887. The Fluvanna Review needs to require resource citations for any advertisement that lists data such as this. Egregious errors such as this one are harmful to the community as a whole.
