I-64 in Albemarle County is in minor condition with mostly wet with patches of snow and ice on the road. I-64 through Louisa County is reported wet but clear of snow.
Primary highways in Albemarle and Fluvanna are reported mostly clear with patches of snow and ice on the surface, VDOT said.
Secondary roads in Albemarle and Fluvanna are reported to be mostly snow-covered in moderate condition today (Thursday). Secondary roads in Culpeper, Fauquier, Greene, Louisa and Orange counties are in minor condition.
VDOT crews have worked overnight to clear snow from the roads across Central Virginia, focusing first on the interstate and primary highways. As conditions allow the crews will shift their work to the secondary roads.
