Kudos to Lake Monticello Rescue

The LMVRS rescue station and all four ambulances passed the OEMS inspection. The OEMS summary report called Lake Monticello “excellent” and a “role model.” Kudos to all the LMVRS volunteers who make this happen every day.
Kudos, also, to the LMVRS volunteers who, for a good part of Monday afternoon, May 20, staffed ambulances answering three, and at one time, four, simultaneous 911 EMS calls throughout Fluvanna County (Lake Monticello is responsible for covering EMS calls for all of the county on weekdays). On Thursday afternoon, May 29, they did it again, responding to three simultaneous 911 EMS calls throughout Fluvanna. Supported by 15 Advanced Life Support (ALS) providers on the active duty roster, who run 12-hour shifts, there are few rural volunteer rescue squads who could equal this weekday performance.
