In an analytical piece called “Water Survival Guide,” Christina Dimeo Guseman provided a thorough, fair and balanced examination of the issues related to current water and sewer proposals and of the controversy surrounding them. Then, in two longish reports of conversations and actions during the latest Board of Supervisors meeting, Ms. Guseman presented information accurately and with sufficient depth to provide insight not always evident in meeting coverage.
I commend Ms. Guseman for her work on this issue. I also commend the Fluvanna Review for recognizing the value of this kind of reporting. I have only one tiny complaint: I wish the analysis of our water and sewer conundrum had been published a week earlier. Perhaps it could have raised the level of dialogue if we had all read it before public comments on two water deals and supervisors’ decisions related to them.
