If Mr. Miller was upset by any comment I might have made to him after the public hearing on Sept. 18 all I can say is I’m sorry. I have never knowingly been disrespectful to anyone and have always made time to listen to everyone’s point of view. In the past four years I have met, not only with groups and organizations, but with citizens in the county one-on-one. I think I have always been accountable for my actions.
Mr. Miller and I have a long history. In fact, he supported me in the last election and I appreciated his help. We have exchanged comments frequently during my term. In fact, we sat together when Tony O’Brien announced his candidacy. If he wants to talk to me, I am always available.
I hope the upcoming campaign doesn’t involve mud-slinging and we can focus on the important issues in the County.
