The motorcycle jacket: wear with swag and moxie

Moto jackets are best known for being black and leather. They are easily recognized because they have bold buckles, big snaps, and exposed zippers. The jacket is cropped, sits at the waist and is asymmetrical.
Celebrities, models and rockers have always had influence on current trends and styles. Who can forget the iconic James Dean sitting on his motorcycle, with a cig, and wearing his motorcycle jacket? But you don’t have to be a tomboy to wear this jacket because we have more options this year. It’s good for all ages and you can rock it your way. Moto jackets come in all colors and fabrics such as knit, tweed, or vegan leather. Substituting other fabrics for leather makes the jacket more feminine and affordable. It can be dressed up or down. Easily make it classy for work by adding pearls and high heel shoes – although I prefer to wear moto boots with mine.
Whether you are ready to head out on the highway for work in your skirt, or for a long joy ride on your bike with tight pants, don’t forget your moto jacket when you hit the road. It’s your “feel cool” go to piece that just may give you the edge you need.
