Fairchild appreciated

After reading the article in the Fluvanna Review “Embezzler sentenced to 10 years in Prison,” I was moved to tears. Chris Fairchild is a person I am proud to know. What he went through during this ordeal as he struggled with many problems such as losing his beautiful farm, his children in college suffering with credit problems and almost losing his business should never have happened, especially when caused by a friend. As I read this article I felt compelled to mention what a kind-hearted person Chris really is. We rented his farm and kept cattle on most of the acreage. We cut hay and kept the farm cleared. He said he did not want rent money, just wanted his few horses, sheep and goats fed.
Who else in our county would have done this? Certainly not the small landowner we rented from before we met Chris.
