Less lanes needed

So what’s the solution: (1) slow the traffic down – the speed limit thru “downtown” Palmyra is 35, yet at the intersection of Turkeysag and Rt.53, it’s 55 – is it any wonder there are accidents there? And (2) reduce the number of lanes at Turkeysag and put up some stop signs there and at the intersection with Lake Monticello Drive. Will this add five minutes to your commute – probably; but the savings on bodily injury and the hours needed for road closure to clean up the accidents should make up for it.
And wait for it … it’s an inexpensive fix.
