I recently tried to donate eyeglasses to The Lions Club donation box located at Food Lion. The box was full, so I asked in the store about when glasses would be collected and was surprised to learn that no one had emptied the donation box in years. Is there no active Lions Club in Fluvanna? And, if no one is responsible for collecting the donations, shouldn’t the box be removed?
