Water costs skyrocketed

With the recent passing of my husband, I thought I would catch a break on my utilities and although the bill for my water is a little less, the cost per gallon has skyrocketed. Since it now seems I don’t use enough water to count, I’m charged the minimum for water and sewer which comes to $68.73 – with a usage of 1100 gallons that comes to eight cents a gallon. Seems we really are being penalized for conserving.
