Here in the 5th District of Virginia we are represented by Robert Hurt. In his weekly emails he tells us that he pushes for bipartisan legislation to help the middle class of the 5th District. This week the House passed HR 33, a one week extension of funding for the Department of Homeland Security by a vote of 357 – 60. And it was, in fact, Representative Hurt who was one of the “No” votes. It seems his radical ideology is more important to him than your safety and that he is guided by the Tea Party principles that put him there. You have now been informed. Respond appropriately.
