New club

The Progressive Men’s Club will hold its inaugural meeting in the Terrace Room of the Lake Monticello clubhouse at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 19. The group is intended as a forum for enlightened, raucous debate, a platform for discussion and consideration of domestic and international affairs from a progressive perspective, and potentially a catalyst for action to remove injustice in the world. Despite its name, women are welcome as well. I’m thinking of our group’s identity and propose “Horseradish for the mind!”
