The office of county clerk is characterized by leading a highly skilled team to efficiently and effectively manage all the active and historical records of the county while managing civil legal and court processes. Everything from marriage licenses to passports, land sales to court fines, wills and probate. The county clerk isn’t a political position – this is hard work of government where legal acumen and court process expertise while leading the staff in efficient work processes is the right stuff. When done correctly, your needs at the counter are met cheerfully, efficiently, and professionally. This is Tristana’s vision for the office, one she is committed to work with the deputy clerks to achieve.
We are indeed fortunate that our county has Tristana Treadway ready and willing to serve. A Fluvanna native who bootstrapped herself from legal secretary to Fluvanna County certified deputy clerk to full practicing attorney and trusted advisor to the court, Tristana is best prepared to bring all her experience, leadership, credentials, energy, and people skills to serve us in public office. The one thing I’m sure of from my FDLP experience is Fluvanna County needs selfless servant leaders and Tristana Treadway is the right person, at the right time for this job. Please do your part in making Fluvanna a great place to live, work, and play.
