Eager wins

Absentee votes have not yet been counted but are generally few in number.

“I want to thank the voters for having confidence and trust in me, and I will try to do the very best job as their supervisor that I possible can,” said Eager. “I’m looking forward to serving the voters.”

Eager, who has served on the Planning Commission for 16 years, has said that water is a secondary issue to lowering the tax rate so as to make Fluvanna a more competitive spot for business.  She wants to rein in Fluvanna’s $90 million debt and “ask the citizens for less tax money.”

Eager will take over for Bob Ullenbruch, who is retiring after four years on the Board when his term expires at the end of the year.
