Signing

On Monday (March 4) Tibbs signed a letter of intent as an invited walk-on for the Spiders. At the signing, Tibbs was accompanied by his parents William and RayShon Tibbs. After the signing, Tibbs noted that Richmond was always his first choice. Despite his impressive quarterback play for the Flucos, the Spiders are projecting Tibbs as a wide receiver. No doubt this is due to his size and speed. Tibbs also said that although he has signed as a walk-on, there is a roster spot waiting for him, and he as a chance to gain scholarship status during the spring season work outs. — Photo and story by Duncan Nixon
