Room fees

Apparently the goal was for the Lake community to help support a restaurant amenity, when historically the survival of a restaurant within the Lake has proven difficult.
There will be a Board meeting on Thursday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. in the main clubhouse. Members of the community have reached out to me asking that I get the word out that Skip and the Ashlawn Grille need the community’s support. While the ad hoc committees will be seeking community input regarding many questions at the Lake, including a number of issues surrounding a restaurant, the issue of the room use and fees is more of a now concern. I urge members of the community to let the board know of your concerns either by email, or as put forth to me, by attending the LMOA board meeting. If you wish to speak, your name needs to be on the sign-up sheet prior to 7 p.m.
