What 26 cents can buy

Twenty six cents can purchase one of the following items:
• one cigarette, or
• 13 ounces of gasoline, or
• one glass of milk, or
• one egg, or
• one-quarter can of beer, or
• one ounce of a Starbucks latte, or
• one half of a postage stamp.

26 cents a day can provide the essential funding for the long overdue Lake Monticello Repair and Replacement project that will enhance our community in many ways, making Lake Monticello more desirable now and more attractive to those who may consider buying a home here in the future.
For us it is an obvious choice. We will vote yes.
