Sewage should be issue now

75,000 gallons from the Department of Corrections (DOC) will cost $8 million to $10 million. Why so much? Because the DOC water comes with sewage treatment capacity. I hope that the DEQ and EPA will not allow this project to go forward unless the planning and financing for the sewage is included in the project. We do not need another sewage disaster like the Lake Monticello system when Aqua Virginia bought it. That company invested $17 million to correct virtually all, but not quite all, of the sewage system deficiencies. Not counting the $ 7 million purchase price.
I am neither for nor against the Zion Crossroads water project. But I am in favor of accurate and honest planning. Both water and sewage must be part on one plan.
