
Austin David Fisher, 95, of Lake Monticello, VA, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026 in his home with his loving daughters by his side.
Austin (Dave) was born in Waterbury, CT on October 22, 1930, the first born of seven boys. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte M. Fisher and four brothers.
Survivors include his daughters, Karon Bolinger and Terri Ball-Gropp (husband Donald); grandchildren, Roger Fallin, Stephen D. Ball (wife Sanaz), Shara Ball, Brittany Gropp (husband Javier); great grandchildren, Austin Fallin and Nadia Ball; brothers James (Joe) Fisher (wife Ann) also of Lake Monticello and C.J. Elsishans (wife Lois); and sister-in-law Kay Sperling (husband Robert) and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
He enlisted in the US Navy, where he served on the USS Macon. While stationed in Norfolk, VA, he met his beloved wife Charlotte and enjoyed 55 wonderful years of marriage. After retiring from a 39-year career with New York Life insurance company, they made their final home in Lake Monticello, VA.

Funeral services with military honors were held on August 24, 2026, and Austin was laid to rest at Fairfax Memorial Park in Fairfax, Virginia.
