One day while riding in the car with his mom, listening to the radio, a twelve year old young man heard a plea for donations for victims of super storm “Sandy.” That message moved him to ask his mom if there was anything that he could do for them. They talked and decided to donate clothes and things the victims needed.
Well, later that week their church had a collection for a parish that is still suffering the aftermath of “Sandy.” The young man told his mom that he wanted to withdraw money from his savings to donate to this collection. And he did.
That young man is one of our own. This week he donated $100 from the money he has earned by helping to clean at his school. He earns $10 a week for his time.
