Nine Hole Ladies

The Nine Hole Ladies Golf hosted an Invitational Golf Tournament on Tuesday, June 12. Club members from Boonesboro, Glennore, Hermitage, Lake of the Woods, Meadowcreek, Richmond, Stonehenge and Wintergreen came to enjoy a day of golfing. We had 60 ladies who could not say enough about the beauty of our golf course. They all admitted it was worth coming the distance just to play.
Our golf pro, Mark Marshall, was outstanding in his assistance for this tournament. The comments were overwhelmingly complimentary for the course and the community as well. Before our starting time, our guests were treated to fresh baked goodies, fruit, coffee and juice all prepared by our Nine Hole ladies and served at the Eagles Nest.
During the tournament, beautiful photos and action shots were taken by our own Paul Stams and Don Raab. The photos were on display at the Ashlawn Grill on a computer for all to see. We would be remiss not to mention the support of husbands and friends who came out to greet our guests and take their golf bags to their carts. The day concluded with emails and phone numbers exchanged between friends and the comment – we can’t wait to come back. We are very proud to live in this wonderful community and have such great amenities which we all should support.
