Dogs off-leash at Pleasant Grove

I have observed dog owners letting their dogs run and play at the ball fields. Really! These are areas designated for athletes. Who wants to run and slide in dog waste?
Part of the problem comes from the fact that the designated dog park is small. Why not enlarge the existing dog park, make it more attractive with the construction of play areas, offer separated runs to limit the number of dogs that interact at any given time to avoid fights, and designate the meadow next to it as an off-leash area?
I love dogs, but feel that people’s rights to enjoy the park safely and without fear should be considered first. My solution, exercise yourself and your dog by taking the dog on the trails leashed, it’s fun.
