I am amazed at the level apathy from certain Board of Supervisor members at the pain that is being inflicted upon the Fluvanna County Public School staff. Staff have been hit with a 1.5% decrease in pay this past August to help make up for the deficit they were left with after the May 2012 budget slashing by the supervisors.

There were on average 250 people waiting in line to vote all day on election day in freezing temperatures. I was there at 2 p.m. gave up and left, then came back again at 5 p.m., and voted at 7:05 p.m. with maybe 100 people still waiting in line to vote. A lot of people left the line and didn’t vote.
