On July 14, Fluvanna Habitat for Humanity will sponsor their eighteenth annual benefit golf tournament at Lake Monticello Golf Course. Needless to say this event is an important part of the Habitat fund raising efforts that are conducted throughout the year. It is important that golfers from throughout the county come out and support this effort. The registration fee is $60 for which golfers can get eighteen holes of golf on one of Central Virginia’s most beautiful courses, a cart, plenty of liquid refreshments, lots of prizes, excellent camaraderie, and a good night’s sleep knowing that you have contributed in a concrete way to helping an important volunteer organization realize their worthy goals and to fulfill their mission. The format is two best balls of foursome, low gross and low net.
