Kernels of corn are food for humans and farm animals. They are also used to yield alcohol for motor fuel. In time of drought, corn becomes expensive. We should not burn corn. In Brazil sugar cane is fermented to alcohol. The entire plant is utilized and this alcohol would be economical. It would be more sensible to make alcohol from sugar cane.
