Why move to the Lake?

Please consider the impact on a prospective buyer when viewing the current clubhouse and Bunker facility. What impression do they make? Outdated, worn, and rundown come to mind. Upgrading the Ashlawn will meet ADA requirements, but also enhance the dining facilities, provide ample meeting space, and be a positive effect on our property values. The 40 plus years old Pro Shop/Eagles Nest needs to be replaced as well in order to be ADA compliant. It is unsafe and worn out in many areas. It was never just for golfers. It was a place to meet friends and neighbors, and enticed many visitors and residents to play and buy memberships-a revenue plus. It can be again.
The cost of this project is approximately $7.1 million. To fund this project the LMOA board has asked the community to approve an annual $95 increase in association dues.
This equates to 26 cents per day or $8 per month. What homeowner hasn’t spent $95 a year to improve their residence outside or in? What good would that be if no one wanted to live in the community because of its overall condition? Before you cast your vote take the time to review all the facts. Check the Friday Flyer for information. Come to the Realtor question and answer session open to the public on April 28.
